Baby it’s cold outside! So plan to join us on Saturday, January 20th 2007* for PVBMDC’s annual Winter Warm-up at the Catoctin Kennel Club at Point of Rocks, Maryland.

Bring your Berners and a brown bag lunch & beverage and the club will serve up hot homemade soup and dessert.

We will start at 11 AM with lunch and socializing, followed by a meeting at noon. If enough members attend to make up a quorum, we can have an official meeting – so please try to make room on your calendar for this and show support for your club.

After the meeting, a number of activities are planned for you to enjoy with your dogs:

- Sandy Novocin will be giving classes in the proper handling of your dog during conformation. If you plan on attending one of the sessions, there will be a sign-up sheet available to assure your place. At 1:00 Beginning Handling and, at 1:30, Run Thru’s for people wanting to practice for the Specialty. Be sure to bring a show lead or some type of choker and a short lead that is no wider than ½ inch.

- Valerie Chase will be doing Rally Run Thru’s – running a rally course at the RN, Ra, or RE level. You will get an evaluation/score sheet and hints for improvement. A sign-up sheet will be available for this activity as well.
